Dawid Radziszewski Gallery announces representation of Agnieszka Polska
Agnieszka Polska (b. 1985) is a Polish artist and filmmaker based in Berlin. There is a certain state of emergency present in her works. It derives from the political and social environment of our time. The artist focuses on creating an immersive experience for the audience – a distant but diligent observer, who becomes a prisoner of the video footage and events unfolding before their eyes.
We will feature Polska’s works for the first time next week in ArtBasel’s Online Viewing Rooms. Her newest video “The Longing Gaze” will premiere on that occasion, shown together with a selection of her recent works, alongside paintings by Louisa Gagliardi.
